Policies/Procedures
Client Confidentiality
What happens during your session will be kept private at all times.Your information and records will only be shared with other therapists/technicians, or medical professionals, pending your permission, with the exception of sexual misconduct. It will not be tolerated and it is our policy to report it. This will prevent it from happening again.
Cancellation
You must give AHA Mssage Clinic a 24 hour notice upon cancellation. We do understand emergencies, and are flexible with our charges. We keep track of all cancellations and will charge full price for missed appointments. Our rooms stay booked and we have a waitiing list. When clients do not call to cancel their appointments we might not be able to book that room in time. Thhis will take away from someone else we could have helped. Please do your best to keep us informed.
No Show
We call to confirm your appointments. If your appointment was confirmed and you do not show, you will be charged in full. If non-payment of no shows happen a collection agency will be appointed. Just give us a call!. Emergencies are understandable and accomodated.
Late Arrival
Prevailing our discretion and availability of the room, the full length of your session may not be accomadated. If you have a repetitive occurrence of three or more late arrivals you will be charged for the missed part of the session. Please call us if you are running late.
Relations
People come here to relax and leave their problems behind. Please silent your cell phone! If you must answer your phone, please inform your therapist/technician and put your phone on vibrate. Keep voices low to maintain a relaxing environment.
Client Relations
Our staff is trained not to burden you with their own stress and to keep your experience a relaxing one. Should conversation become inappropriate or intimate, please inform management immediately! Inappropriate topics include, but are not limited to: sex, race, religion, politics or personal issues. You will be compensated!
If for any reason you feel that you haven't received the appropriate treatment or inadequate service, this should be brought to the attention of a shift manager immediately. We will investigate the problem and schedule a corrective service(preferably with the original service provider).
ANY FORM OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
We take the professionalism of our work seriously. Sexual misconduct is not a joking matter. Under no circumstances should any therapists/technician perform treatment of any type to the genitals or anus. The chest on women and the gluteal muscles will be worked through the draping and they will remain draped at ALL tmes.
Under no circumstances should a client touch a therapist during a session or offer the therapist a masage "for payment". Payment is taken at the front service desk.
The therapist or client has the right to terminate the session immediately.
Sexual misconduct should be reported immediately.
If the therapist has to terminate the session, the client will be responsible for paying in full.
If client has to terminate session there will be no charge for services and matters will be handled in accordance of Louisiana stae law.
